Join artist and maker James Wilson for an evening of botanical drawing, cocktails, and creativity at Deus Lodge, Boscombe.

This workshop is about rediscovering the joy of drawing, not striving for perfection.

Through playful mark-making and guided exercises, I will introduce you to a range of drawing techniques and materials in a relaxed, social setting.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned sketcher, you’ll leave with fresh inspiration, a sketchbook, and the tools to keep creating.

What to Expect

A 2-hour guided workshop exploring drawing for pleasure and relaxation

Techniques including blind contour, continuous line, shading, and minimal sketching

Materials to experiment with: brush & ink, fine liners, Posca pens, charcoal + more

A sketchbook,fine line pen, and pencil to take home and continue your practice

One botanical cocktail, beer, or soft drinks included in your ticket
